WAII LLC ("we") handles information under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and other applicable laws. This policy covers our website, the apps we provide, and our AI adoption consulting (together, the "services").
If we collect personal information from someone under 16, we follow the law, including obtaining a guardian's consent where that is required.
3. Information we handle
Inquiries. When you email us, we receive your name, organization, email address, and the contents of the message.
Apps. Where an app needs it, we may handle account details (such as a name or email address), how the app is used, device type, operating-system version, language setting, and information needed to investigate a defect. What each app handles is described in that app. We do not receive payment-card numbers. App Store and other sales platforms, or a payment provider we name separately, process payments.
Consulting. We may handle a contact's name, organization, role, and email address, a description of the work, and information included in materials shared for the engagement.
We do not seek sensitive information, such as medical history. If a message includes it, we use it only as needed to handle that message.
Website. This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising. Your language choice (Japanese or English) stays in your browser and is not sent to our servers. The site loads Google Fonts so text can be displayed. Your browser then connects to Google's servers, and Google may receive your IP address. We do not use that connection for ads or analytics.
4. Why we use it
To answer inquiries, prepare estimates, and prepare contracts
To provide an app, confirm who you are, check fees, fix defects, and improve quality
To perform consulting: assessment, workflow design, implementation support, and training
To invoice and confirm payment
To respond to misuse, and to meet legal duties
If we need to use information for another purpose, we ask you first, unless the law allows that use.
5. Processors and other parties
We do not sell personal information. We do not provide it to other parties except when:

it is needed to protect someone's life, body, or property, and we cannot readily get consent
we entrust work to a processor, as described below
Information may be entrusted to, or sent as part of using, parties such as:
platforms that distribute apps and take payment (for example, the App Store)
payment providers
providers of email, file storage, and other cloud infrastructure
providers of generative AI services, when we need them to process an inquiry or materials in order to do the consulting or the development
professional advisers bound to keep the work confidential
We require processors, by contract or by settings, to use the information only for the work. When we use a generative AI service, we do not use your materials to train a public model of our own. How the provider treats the information depends on that provider's terms and on the settings we choose.
Those servers may be outside Japan. We still use the information only for the purposes in this policy.
6. Security and retention
We limit who can access information, protect it in transit, and choose processors with care, so that information is not leaked, lost, or damaged.
We keep information for as long as the purpose requires, or for as long as the law requires. After that, we delete it or make it no longer identifiable.
7. Access, correction, and deletion
You may ask us to disclose, correct, add to, delete, or stop using personal information we hold about you, and to stop providing it to others. After we confirm it is you, we respond as the law requires.
Email [email protected] with the service concerned, what you are asking for, and the address we should reply to. We may ask for more information so we can confirm who you are.
8. Changes
We change this policy when we need to. The new text applies when it is posted on this page. If a change matters, we make that clear on this page.
